During a second round of a school calendar survey, Huntsville School District parents and guardians are being asked to complete a paper survey on their top two preferred school calendar choices. Surveys are available at the administration offices through Friday. 

Huntsville School District is asking for input on four calendar options via an online survey available on the district’s website and Facebook page. 

Current and future facility needs were the primary focus for the Huntsville School Board during a work session Jan. 22.

Huntsville School District officials should know Thursday night if the district’s athletics program earned the bid on several tournaments, the Huntsville School Board learned Monday night at its regular monthly meeting.

Board Policy 2.5 was approved Monday. It does not specify guns or other weapons but Superintendent Jonathan Warren said those who complete the 60 hours of training would be allowed to conceal-carry on campus despite it being illegal for most other people.
