The Eighth Annual Chad Wolff Baseball Classic, involving nearly 160 teams from six states, took place throughout northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri last weekend, including at Mitchusson Park in Huntsville.

The Huntsville Eagles held their 50th team junior high boys camp last week in the Charles H. Berry Gymnasium.

Postseason honors continue to roll in for the Huntsville Eagles baseball team, as seniors Kolton Reynolds and Tucker Bradley were named to the Scorebook Live All-State team.

Huntsville High baseball coach Greg Harris said 160 summer baseball teams will be in northwest Arkansas this weekend for a tournament. The games will be played on 19 fields, including Huntsville’s in Mitchusson Park.

JACKSONVILLE – The Fouke “Claybusters” Senior Trapshooting Team took top honors at Saturday’s finale of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Youth Shooting Sports Program State Championship, held at the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation Jacksonville Shooting Sports Complex. 

The success of the Huntsville High baseball season topped all other local sports stories during the 2021-22 school year.

JACKSONVILLE – With the wind down considerably from the day before, the shooting on May 7 picked up for the senior division in the West Regional of the Arkansas Youth Shoot Sports Program championships.

Harrison beat Huntsville 17-11 Saturday in the Class 4A state baseball tournament semifinals in a marathon game in Nashville that lasted nearly four hours.
