Huntsville senior Mason Davidson was named to the 2023 Basketball All-Star team to compete in Conway this summer.

Farmington downed Huntsville 7-0 on Friday in the 4A-West District soccer tournament.

The Class 3A State Meet was scheduled for Tuesday in Prescott, with the Class 4A State Meet on Tuesday in Clarksville. The Class 1A State Meet was set for Wednesday in Lincoln. Full results will be in next week’s edition of The Record.

The Huntsville 5th Grade “B” Lady Eagles finished their season with a 6-1 regular season record and went 3-0 in their tournament to bring home the NWA County Youth 5th Grade B Championship.

The Huntsville Lady Eagles on Saturday hosted the Tigers from Prairie Grove, losing 57-43 in 4A-1 Conference play. The game was postponed from earlier in the week due to inclement weather.

The Huntsville Eagles bounced back Saturday night to beat Prairie Grove 60-54 in overtime, 24 hours after falling to Berryville in the 4A-1 Conference.

Huntsville hosted the 4A-1 leading Farmington Cardinals on Jan. 17, losing a lopsided game 67 to 25.

The Farmington Cardinals came to Huntsville and took a hard-fought 61-51 victory back with them to Washington County. The two teams entered the game 6-0 in the 4A-1 Conference.

Huntsville Junior Eagles and Junior Lady Eagles both finished second in last week’s Charles H. Berry and Jim Stafford Invitational Junior High Basketball Tournament.

Senior guard Mason Davidson scored a school record 49 points last Friday as Huntsville rallied to beat Shiloh Christian 74-67 in overtime for a 4A-1 Conference win.

Huntsville hosted Shiloh Christian Friday night, sending them home with a 49-40 loss.

Huntsville rallied on the road Friday to beat Prairie Grove 43-40 to open 4A-1 Conference play.
