At the end of the awards ceremony, Paul Vanderpool approached event organizer Jason Yates at the gazebo, carrying a metal sculpture of a pterodactyl, and presented the “Working Bird” Award to Glynna Markley, Cruz’n the Square treasurer, for all her years of work on the car show.

Huntsville Schools as well as the City of Huntsville celebrated the fast-approaching 2024-25 school year with a Back to School Bash on Friday, Aug. 2 in the College Street Park.
