Madison County’s population rose the fastest of any county in Arkansas from 2021 to 2022, according to figures released last week by the U.S. Census Bureau. Madison County’s growth was the 96th fastest-growing U.S. county from 2021 to 2022.

Plans for Madison County and the City of Huntsville to begin using solar power remain in place, despite new legislation that would lower the wholesale rate that solar users get when selling power back to power providers.
