Two area men were arrested Sunday on suspicion of rape, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

The following felony cases were resolved in Madison County Circuit Court during the month of July.

A Hindsville man was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography and other charges.

The trial of former school resource officer Lynn Whittle, who faces a charge of third-degree battery for using a taser on a Huntsville High School student in February, was continued until Sept. 1.

A Rogers man was arrested Saturday in Hindsville on suspicion he threatened the life of a female and attempted to burn down her camper.
