About 3.5 inches of snow fell on Madison County over the weekend, beginning around 1 p.m. and ending sometime after 8 p.m. on Sunday, leaving streets and roads coated with a mixture of snow and impacted ice. The Arkansas Department of Transportation and City of Huntsville deployed snow plows and salt trucks to keep roads clear, though Madison County reported issues with fuel freezing in its road graders.
