The Huntsville Eagles dropped a hard-fought campaign against the Green Forest Tigers on Friday night, 14-6, falling to 0-9 overall this season and 0-6 in 4A-1. The loss on Senior Night eliminates Huntsville from playoff contention. Mist and slippery conditions might have played into the loss, but for the most part, it was a low-scoring game that saw both sides affected by penalties and turnovers. Huntsville made its lone touchdown early in the first quarter and was unable to break into the end zone again. Green Forest also made its first touchdown early, not to score again until the closing minutes of the contest.
