Road and fence for new jail built on Thompson family existing easement

A road leading to the new Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center and a part of the fence surrounding it were built on an existing easement owned by the Thompson family, but Madison County Judge Larry Garrett, who learned of the problem a couple of weeks ago, said the problem is in the process of being fixed.
