I probably learned more about what Freedom of the Press actually means from Dr. James Dobson, who passed at age 89 on Aug. 21, than any contemporary American icon. Dr. Dobson illustrated how to capitalize on Freedom of the Press outside of journalism by publishing books, audios, videos, developing and publishing curriculum, and engaging in public speaking to convey a message not permitted in most of the world, one that habitually promoted traditional, family values centered around the teachings of the Holy Scriptures.
