The Huntsville High School Family and Consumer Sciences and Huntsville Middle School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America students were in Denver, Colo., last week for the National Leadership Conference.

The Huntsville High School golf teams began practice earlier this week for the 2023 season. Coach Justin Harris said team members will practice Monday through Thursday from 9-11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Golf Course.

The Huntsville Eagles football team returned to the practice field on Monday, following a three-week break from activities, including two weeks during the state’s “dead period,” during which coaches and athletes could not have contact.

The Huntsville City Council on Monday approved a two-year intra-agency agreement with the Huntsville School District to provide two School Resource Officers, after last month’s announcement by Madison County Sheriff Ronnie Boyd that his agency would no longer be providing SROs due to a lack of manpower.

The Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation is pleased to announce that it has donated a kiosk to the Madison County Circuit Court. This kiosk will help court users in Madison County more easily navigate the court system.
