The Huntsville Water Commission heard an update from McClelland Consulting Engineers last week on  recent steps to expand the city’s wastewater treatment facility.

In its regular ad hoc session last week, the Huntsville Planning Commission approved the site plans for the new Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center.

The Madison County Water Facilities Board met on Feb. 13 in the water office.

A local murder suspect has had a new trial date set, according to Fourth Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Matt Durrett.
