The Huntsville boys cross-country team finished third last week in Class 4-6A at the Prairie Grove Invitational.
Two St. Paul School basketball teams traveled to Eureka Springs on Jan. 30 to take on the Highlanders. The senior girls’ game was canceled due to illness and injuries on the St. Paul team.

The Huntsville School Board voted unanimously in a special-called meeting Wednesday to approve the hiring of Johnson County Westside Coach Shannon McBee to fill the St. Paul girls basketball coaching vacancy next year.
Lady Saints Coach Jackie Kirbo will enter retirement this summer after spending 30 years on the bench, earning multiple district and conference championships and other successes through both basketball and softball programs across the state.
St. Paul’s senior teams took on the Oark Hornets during Homecoming night Jan. 8. The Saints won the senior girls’ game, 33-16. Sam Swinford was the Saints’ leading scorer with 11 points and Tanner Harp following with 9 points.
