Shepherd receives Burlsworth Award

Senior Kolton Shepherd received his Brandon Burlsworth Character Award last week. The award is named for the former Harrison High School and Arkansas Razorback offensive lineman, who died in a car wreck in 1999 in Alpena. It is given to high school players in recognition of outstanding character and sportsmanship. Shepherd also was named to the KURM Dream Team for this past football season, along with teammates Bubba Rodden and Colby Shepherd. They will be honored at a banquet on Jan. 29 in Rogers.
