Mae Irene (Timmons) McSperitt

Mae Irene (Timmons) McSperitt, 90, of Coal Hill, Ark., died Nov. 23, 2019, in Coal Hill.

She was born Jan. 2, 1929, in Stigler, Okla., to Levi and Elsie Mae (Tate) Timmons.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Orville McSperitt; her sons, Eugene McSperitt and Marvin McSperitt; her granddaughter, Lynette Mayers; and her great grandson, Brandon McSperitt.

She is survived by her siblings, Betty Ward of Sapulpa, Okla., Mary Jett of Longview, Texas, Francise of El Reno, Okla., and Hershal Timmons of Tulsa, Okla.; her children, Nellie Thacker and husband, Francis, of Pettigrew, Ark., Pam Gray and husband, Steve, of Coal Hill, Ark., Don McSperitt and wife, Norma, of Pettigrew, Virgil McSperitt and wife, Edna, of Rogers, and Frank McSperitt and wife, Cecilia, of Superior, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Viewing was from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler, with Bro. David Willis officiating.

 Interment will follow at Tamaha Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
