James Kenneth Campbell

James Kenneth Campbell, 83, of Springdale, died Friday, May 24, 2019, in Springdale.

He was born Thursday, October 17, 1935, in Whitener, to John and Jewell Burnett Campbell.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, retiring from service in 1985.

Kenneth was predeceased in death by his parents and two sisters, Jeanelle Hutton of Hindsville and Johnetta Smith of Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Vona Campbell of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kendyll and Laurie Campbell of Prairie Village, Kan., Kerrie and Lee Campbell of Springdale, and Keith and Lea Ann Campbell of Rogers; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 28, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Jim Spurlock and Eldon Bagwell officiating. Interment followed at Buckeye Cemetery in Hindsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Kenneth’s name to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037; or the North Hills Dialysis Center, 107 E Monte Painter Dr, Fayetteville, AR 72703.

Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
