HSD superintendent Warren tenders resignation

Huntsville School District Superintendent Jonathan Warren announced his resignation effective June 30 in an email to staff before the school day began on April 24. He officially tendered his resignation on April 23.

Committee votes down proposal to help former growers

St. Paul High School FCCLA successful at STAR competitions

On April 9, St. Paul High School took 16 students, two teachers, and one parent to FCCLA’s state leadership conference and STAR event competitions in Hot Springs. FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students, in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education. 

Jury gives man 10 years on rape charge

A Madison County jury returned a guilty verdict last week in the trial of a Witter man accused of rape in 2020.

Norma Raye Dimmit, 80, of Rogers passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital NWA, Rogers.   She was born Monday, Dec. 13, 1943, in Forum to Joseph Arthur and Retha Mae Frederick White.   Larry Wendell Dimmit, 83, of Rogers passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville.   He was born Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1940, in Aurora to Lloyd Harold and Clara Peters Dimmit.
